17 Apr SPONGEBOB CELEBRATE 25TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT AT SUN PLAZA – MEDAN

SUN Plaza Medan buzzed with underwater excitement as it’s transformed into a vibrant Bikini Bottom celebration during the “Celebrate Like A Sponge” event, held from February 27th to March 16th, 2025. Marking the first-ever SpongeBob event in Medan and the entire Sumatera island. At the heart of the event, visitors were excited to meet and interact with the cheerful pair, SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, creating an unforgettable experience.

Adding a whimsical touch visible even from afar was a towering 3-meter-high giant SpongeBob inflatable, installed outdoors to welcome everyone. Inside, a dedicated merchandise area offered a treasure trove of SpongeBob goodies, ranging from delicious ice cream and cuddly plush toys to fun apparel and footwear. Fans could also discover other Nickelodeon merchandise, making it a delightful experience for enthusiasts of various shows.

This inaugural SpongeBob event in Medan successfully brought the infectious energy of Bikini Bottom to Sumatera, creating memorable moments. The combination of character meet & greets, eye-catching decorations, and a wide selection of merchandise made it a truly special occasion for SpongeBob fans in the region.
